The hotel is equipped with a 5mw capacity power plant — around 85 lac units of electricity are generated from this plant in Kundrakonda, Karnataka annually – and is 100% derived from renewable energy.

As a part of a brand partnership with Phool, decorative flowers are recycled into 100% natural incense sticks and cones that are hand-rolled by 300 women from marginalized communities. Other locally focused initiatives include the sourcing of food supplies and ingredients from the surrounding community including a rescue and rehabilitation center for the houseless. Further, the hotel’s wellness teas and jute laundry bags are purchases from businesses providing employment for local women.

The hotel prides itself on promoting and protecting the area’s cultural heritage through an array of experiences including authentic puppet shows, pottery workshops, henna art, and safa tying, alongside musical heritage through soulful Ravanhatta music, ghoomar dancers and singers, and local singers that create a unique arrival experience. The hotel also seeks to preserve local artisanship by engaging with local artists to assist in the restoration and repair of the palace’s original artwork and paintings.

Bath amenities are 100% vegan, 100% paraben- and SLS-free, and developed with natural extracts and floral fragrances, and come in 100% recyclable packaging. An in-house water bottling plant replaces single-use plastic bottles.
