Immerse yourself in Chobe National Park with a stay at the migrating andBeyond Chobe Under Canvas, a luxury encampment that changes location every few days to ensure a minimal impact on the natural environment. Always located along the Chobe River, the sustainably focused camp offers twice-daily game drives with interpretive guides, nature walks, birdwatching expeditions, and photographic safaris aboard a river boat outfitted with camera mounts. When not exploring the Botswana bush, enjoy relaxing views from your private veranda, pan-African meals around the fire, sundowner drinks, and stargazing opportunities before laying down in your luxe Tent and drifting off to sleep to the sounds of Africa

Impact in Action

How sustainability leadership comes to life at andBeyond Chobe Under Canvas:

Camping Sustainably

The semi-permanent &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas defines light-touch luxury. With only five tents, the camp shifts location regularly, ensuring each guest experience feels entirely unique while allowing the environment to remain undisturbed. There is no electricity in camp, by design, with lighting provided by solar-powered lanterns. Guests enjoy hot bucket showers, while meals are prepared over the fire. This quiet expression of luxury immerses guests in the wilderness of Chobe National Park, leaving no trace and offering a compelling example of sustainable travel.

Leaders of Tomorrow

In partnership with Wild Impact, their long-standing community and conservation development partner, &Beyond enables conservation lessons and game drives for learners in Chobe National Park. Currently focused on Grade 4 to 6 learners from three schools in the greater Chobe-Savute region, the programme raises awareness around conservation, human-wildlife interaction and living safely alongside wildlife. The next phase will focus on the continued development and refinement of educational resources, as well as expanding the rollout of conservation lessons. In doing so, the initiative helps equip the next generation to understand, value and protect the wildlife and landscapes around them.

Building a better future

In Botswana, &Beyond and Wild Impact’s community and education support extends from primary school infrastructure to tertiary learning opportunities. At Sexaxa Primary School, a multi-phased development approach has helped create facilities that meet Botswana Ministry of Education standards, including classroom blocks, a kitchen, bathrooms, a reception block, teaching and office facilities, water tanks, guttering and a vegetable garden that supports daily nourishment. At tertiary level, the Community Leaders Education Fund assists students in accessing bursaries for university degrees and vocational diplomas. In 2025, 8 bursaries supported students across &Beyond’s partner communities, with graduates returning their skills in service to the community.
